How I Empower People
As an interpreter, I have gained practical experience handling challenging situations.
For example, I once translated for a trans woman who was being misgendered and called the wrong name by a social worker.
Using my experience, I explained the issue and educated the social worker until she used the correct name and pronouns. This was vital, as my client was going through a stressful time and felt like she wasn’t being recognised for who she truly was by the person who should have been assisting her.
I provide personal, one-to-one translation services, no agencies, just me and my occasional collaborators.
I lead every project personally. For larger or multilingual projects, I can also coordinate trusted specialist collaborators when you need additional language or project-management support.
When you work with me, you have a direct point of contact who takes the time to understand your project, your audience and your requirements.

My work is informed by a commitment to feminist and gender-inclusive translation.
